Reiki (RAY-key) energy healing is an exciting, gentle, non-invasive method of healing. The word Reiki means, literally, Universal Life Force energy. This is the energy that is found in all of the world as we know it and in all living beings. Most people commonly hear of energy flow within the body in the context of a modality such as acupressure or acupuncture where the practitioner stimulates certain meridians (junctions of energy pathways) to balance the flow of energy. In Reiki, the practitioner simply holds their hands above the body or rests them gently on the body to channel energy through the body, encouraging it to work for the patient’s highest good. A Reiki healing works “with” you rather than “to” you and affects body, mind and spirit allowing for growth and healing in all areas.

Stones and minerals have been used in healing practices since the beginnings of humanity. Stones have innate energy vibrations (as do all things) and these vibrations can be utilized to your advantage in essences, jewelry, worry stones, layouts, ambient decorations and more. We utilize our training and experience to help you choose stones that will benefit you and your current needs and decide which of the above options will be the most helpful. We then help you make it happen!

Essences are a very convenient and cost effective way to utilize stone and botanical energies. Everything has a unique energy vibration to it. In the case of stones and botanicals, their energy vibrations can be helpful as healing tools, working on causes of disease or discomfort rather than simply masking symptoms. The most well known of these is a product from Bach Flower Essences called Rescue Remedy, available at most health food stores.

The energy vibration is transferred to water and preserved for later use. This is called an essence and can be used singly, in combination, in one-time doses or continuously. There are no side effects or dangers of overdosing. You do not have to purchase or find the original item (what if that flower doesn’t grow in your country or you can’t afford a diamond?).

Essences can be taken internally, rubbed onto skin, placed in bath water, spritzed into the air, and more. We can help you figure out if you are a candidate for essences, what the most helpful combination for you would be, and in most cases, provide the custom blend.

Please note- most essences are preserved with alcohol. If this is a problem, remember there are other ways to use essences rather than internally. In some cases a custom blend can be made without the use of alcohol.
